Vote for Scott
“Hi There, I’m Scott, otherwise known as Scotty The Body! I fell in love with radio after a ton of trial and error of trying to find my passion in college. It wasn’t until after getting involved with the Office of Orientation at the University of South Florida is where I found my true desire to speak with people on a large scale to spread my little tad of positivity to others. From there, I decided to take a risk and walk into the small college radio station on campus and as soon as I stepped in the studio, I never wanted to leave. A professor sent me a hiring event letter from HOT 101.5 for their street team. I was so excited I wore a full blown suit to the hiring event and got the job as a street team member. I eventually met Miguel from Miguel and Holly morning show. I shared my passion, and career dreams in radio. They gave me the opportunity to help produce the show and I knew these were the people for me. I have gotten the opportunity to do more and more everyday with the show and I couldn’t be happier! I love radio because it gives me the ability to make people’s day even the slightest bit better and that means the world to me!
When I’m not in the studio, you can catch me venturing around Tampa with my girlfriend to taste the best foods, trying a new wine, watching Netflix with shows like The Office and rom-coms like Irreplaceable You (yes, I cried…a lot), reading a motivational book, and working on my fitness at the gym! Life is a crazy rollercoaster that I am trying to figure out every day so I love taking the lessons I learn and spreading them to others that need them, so if you need a pep talk to get motivated or some positive vibes let me know, I’ll spread em’ your way!”
Vote for Beth, Andrea and Rick
Beth Ash: At Thermo Fisher Scientific, our mission is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. As a Health System Specialist, Beth spends her time on the healthier portion of that mission working with health systems to improve the quality of care for asthma patients. In her downtime, she volunteers for the American Lung Association, providing “Breathe Well, Live Well”, an educational course for adults with asthma in the Tampa Bay community. As this year’s Vice-Chair of the Tampa Bay Asthma Coalition and a member of the Steering Committee for the Florida Asthma Coalition, she enjoys bringing asthma champions together from the community to solve challenges our patients and healthcare providers face every day.
Outside of work and volunteering, you can find Beth spending time with her precocious niece, Eloise (whose parents are pretty cool, too), reading a good book, venturing to new travel destinations, boating, and saying yes to any chance for enjoying a nice glass of wine.
If you’d like to learn more about how Thermo Fisher improves asthma outcomes and reduces inflammation for allergic asthma, please visit allergyinsider.com or ask Beth Ash and Andrea Grieser for more details after the show.
If you or someone you know would like to participate in the local or state asthma coalition, please reach out to Beth for more information. Beth.email@example.com
Andrea Grieser: As an Area Sales Director for Thermo Fisher Scientific, Andrea spends her time working with the clinical demand and health system teams to generate awareness of a diagnostic test that can help identify allergic triggers. The test can improve the quality of care for asthma patients and identify the allergic triggers causing inflammation. Andrea has worked for Thermo Fisher Scientific for almost 18 years and has enjoyed providing education and awareness to healthcare providers.
In her downtime, she is a mother of three teenagers, two small dogs and was recently engaged to an amazing man who enjoys the craziness of girls! They stay very busy between travel softball, cheer, and dance and enjoy spending time with family, boating, and are likely to be found on one of Tampa’s beautiful beaches.
Andrea is glad to have the opportunity to support the American Lung Association through Lip Sync For Lungs because of the great impact they continue to make by building proactive healthcare, smoking cessation and asthma solutions for millions of people. They are truly a remarkably thoughtful and caring organization with amazing leadership.
Rick Gausche, aka DJ Ricky G, is a man about Tampa. He loves actively giving back to his community via volunteering for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, participating in fundraiser events and helping to organize group runs for Team in Training. Rick is an avid marathoner, weight lifter and aspiring Sommelier. Cheers to all the good times ahead!
